地下食品街のしかけ
建て替え工事中の阪神百貨店に期間限定で出店したサンドイッチ専門店。区画移動に対応できるようにすべて可動家具でしつらえている。
サンドイッチが「挟む」ことでつくられていることと、百貨店の地下食品街特有の通路を巡りながら商品を選ぶ、ということに注目し、歩きながら色の変わる壁面をデザインした。左から見るとピンク、右から見ると黄緑、正面に立った時はグラデーションに見える。色はルーバーの間に挟まれた鏡面に風景と共に映り込み、見る角度によって柔らかく変化していく。
Walls that change with angle
Focusing on the fact that sandwiches are made by ‘sandwiching’ and that people choose products while walking around the aisles, which is unique to department stores' food areas, the wall was designed to change colour as you walk around.
The wall appears pink when viewed from the left, yellow-green when viewed from the right, and a gradation of colours when standing in front of it.
